Thanksgiving weekend.
After my aunt’s annual Thanksgiving Eve party, the Turkey Trot downtown on Thanksgiving morning, two days of turkey coma (I am counting leftovers on Friday), watching the Cowboys beat the Seahawks, braving the Black Friday crowds to look for a new TV (which I didn’t buy) and a day of sleep and laying on the couch (Saturday), I finally decided to do some Christmas shopping and make a...

After meeting The All-American Rejects this weekend and hearing old school songs like Swing, Swing and new songs, like Gives You Hell, I have a new found love for their cheesy, pop-punk tunes.

FedEx.
I have never been so stressed out about shipping a package as I am right now. Especially since FedEx is still holding my last one in Memphis due to aircraft delay. What the hell is that? Put it on another damn plane!!
So much for paying to make sure your package gets to its destination in time. I will be freaking out until tomorrow morning when (if?!) our NYC office receives a box - the second...

Washington, D.C. - Weekend recap.
Wednesday: Arrived at 10:30 pm and crashed at my hotel.
Thursday: I enjoyed breakfast in bed and worked from my hotel room until noon and then headed to the PR News luncheon at the National Press Club. We all wanted to sneak into the Newsweek event. The MWW crew had some beers in the afternoon and then met up at the D.C office for a bit.
I met my cousin Toni at the Metro and we stood on a...

Leaving on a jet plane.
I don’t think words can explain how excited I am that it just so happened to work out that the PR News luncheon is on November 6. In Washington, D.C.!!
I will be boarding a plane tomorrow evening at 7pm. I will be there until Sunday. This will only be my second trip to D.C. and I can’t be happier to be there this week…of all weeks!
My cousin lives in Bethesda and works on...

Vote.
I voted on Friday during my lunch break. This was only the second time I voted (my freshman year of college, I got my absentee ballot too late). It was quite a scene and I felt a little rushed.
But, I feel a sense of pride and patriotism. I will be in D.C. on November 5th and the anticipation is killing me.
