My poor pinky toe.
I stubbed my pinky toe on my right foot during my river trip a few weekends ago. It turned all black and blue and looked kind of weird. It was starting to feel better and I could wear shoes other than flip-flops, but I was just picking up some laundry off the floor and I stubbed it again…on an iron.
Damn.
I unfollowed you.
Finally.
And I don’t feel bad about it either.

The Warehouse Sale →
If you are in the market for new jeans (ladies and guys), I highly recommend checking out these sales. I have bought a few pairs of jeans over the past year at their events. One pair was about $80 and then I saw them in a store for $220. Good deal.
California wine country.
I am so excited for my trip to Napa/Sonoma next week, I can barely concentrate on anything else.
I have never been to California wine country and plans have not really been set, so if anyone has any suggestions on wineries to visit, attractions to see, restaurants to eat at, please send them my way.

I spent my Sunday grocery shopping, reading, seeing Mama Mia and eating pizza and gelato. I am working from home tomorrow.
I am working from home tomorrow and my boss is on vacation all week. Can i bring my laptop to the pool? Hmmm…

A whole crew of us floated the river down near New Braunfels this weekend. It was an awesome time. Does anyone want to go back before the end of the summer?!

So full.
After my whirlwind of a day, I think I ate my weight in french fries and cheeseburger tonight. Jake’s is definitely my favorite burger place. While I do love a late night Snuffer’s run, the burger is always undercooked to my standards…even when I order it well done.
I just finished packing (I have too much shit for 3 days) and catching up with Tom, who I haven’t talked to...
Weekend...where are you?
I can’t decide if this week is flying by or crawling. The days seem to last forever, but since I was off on Monday and it’s almost Thursday, it is going by pretty fast.
2 of my 3.5 days of work this week are complete. Tomorrow is super busy already - dentist at 8am, meetings most of the day, dinner with my mom and dad. I have to say goodbye to Jersey for 9 days too, since I will be...
Oh, hi.
I spent my weekend running errands, watching cheesy movies and The Food Network, sitting by the pool and laying around my apartment. I didn’t turn on my computer once. It was nice.
Now I am back. Back to work for 3.5 days and back to the world of the Internet.
Long weekend.
Tomorrow is my first work from home day. I got all situated with the VPN thing, so hopefully it will all work out. And with Summer Friday’s, I’ll be done at 2pm. Now I just have to figure out what I want for lunch…Greenz, Baker Bros.?
I’m also off on Monday, so I am looking forward to a long weekend of relaxing. I might go see Wall E (alone), head to Central Market or...
Office computers.
I am not a tech whiz by any means, but I can mess around with things until they work or figure some kind of solution out.
I successfully installed VPN software on two of our office laptops over the past few days, which was a big deal since we have two “work from home days” a month now. I attempted to mess around with one of the laptops that had some kind of Trojan horse virus on it...

The lust factor.
I sat by the pool on the 4th enjoying sangria, snacks and the gorgeous weather. I also enjoyed the sights - numerous guys in Hawaiian print board shorts with tanned, chiseled bodies. Of course, my eyes go immediately to the blondish haired guy with blue eyes in the red swim trunks at the beer pong table.
When someone asks me what my “type” is, I tend to describe the guy listed above....

Tried to buy a ticket on the Midnight Train Goin’ Anywhere, but they were like, “$15 per additional bag,” and I was like, “Fuck that!”
Happy weekend!
My office closed at 3pm today, but we technically stopped working at 2pm and had some snacks and drinks to celebrate two office promotions. I ran to the mall after work and bought a new bathing suit at the Gap. It ended up being $8.64, since I had a $10 coupon and it was on sale. I love a bargain.
I hit up the grocery store with Ashley to pick up some grub and stuff to make sangria for tomorrow....

My apartment.
I received a notice on my door last week that my apartment lease is up on September 23rd. They are only raising my rent $12 a month too. That’s awesome, considering I have been here for almost 2 years and it hasn’t gone up yet. Plus, my office is moving from 13 miles away to about 1 mile away in September, so I will be saving significantly on gas.
I like my place. There’s things...
