Stupid.
I feel like I have been doing some stupid stuff lately. I won’t go into details, but I don’t feel very happy with myself right now and I haven’t for the past few weeks.
A wise friend of my told me that she regularly asks herself when she is too old for random, crazy nights. Her answer: Never.
Maybe that is good motto. Maybe I need to take the stupid stuff I do with a grain of...

Got Internet for my condo.
Researched laptops.
Bundled all the services I have on my cell phone bill and saved a few bucks.

Over it.
I have lived in Dallas for well over three years now. And I really love it here. But I am so sick of the bar scene in Uptown.
When deciding where to go out last night, I wanted to stay as far away from Uptown as possible. The thought of going to a bar and having to shout over everyone just to have a conversation, waiting in line to get in, literally bumping into people just to get to the bar and...

Random, fun, hilarious, relaxing weekend.
Friday - Waited in line for 1.5 hours to see “New Moon.” I was, by far, not the oldest person there. And I am not talking about the parents that were there to escort their obnoxious teenage daughters. There were definitely some 30 and 40-something women, decked out in “New Moon” gear, waiting in line with us.
Saturday - Went to the Etsy Dallas Jingle Bash. It was entirely...

I started an Etsy page!
You know those cute feather headbands that are all the rage right now? Well last week I saw some really cute ones at Urban Outfitters, but they were over $20! I thought to myself, I can make that.
So this weekend…I did! And it came out pretty cute. I wore in on Saturday night for Lenora’s birthday celebration and got a lot of compliments.
I plan to head to Michael’s after work...
I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t...

Counting your blessings.
On Thursday, my dad was in a card accident. Someone hit his truck from behind, hard enough to spin it completely around. After the accident, he got out of the car and had to sit back down because he was dizzy and light-headed. He was taken to the hospital and checked out and thankfully, he was OK.
After talking to him on Thursday, I had a horrible nights’ sleep. Thoughts of what if? kept...

Photos galore.
I uploaded about 200 photos to Flickr today. I am finally caught up and now I have to go through and edit them, which will probably take another few months, if it happens at all.
Check them out here.
Part of that is setting up this filter in your brain that’s like, “I’m working...

Halloween weekend recap.
I had one of the best weekends I have had in a long time.
Friday night - Went to the Gilda’s Club of North Texas Rock the Red Door event at The Loft. The Spazmatics played and they were awesome. I definitely need to catch them the next time they play. After the event, I went to the am/pm lounge with my friends Ashley and Makenzie. We were in the mood for a change of scenery from Uptown and...
