Perspective from my elders.

Just got home from a few too many drinks and dinner with my aunt (yes, the one who is always trying to set me up) and her friend Kathy.

I totally agree! I would rather piss people off and do self checkout so I can bag my own groceries. I also find that if I give the cashier/bagger my own reusable bags, they tend to fill them up.

I never forget a face.

New blog?
I have been thinking of starting a new blog lately. I am not sure what the topic will be, but I like to cook…and eat…and I do random things like clip coupons and bargain hunt. I am also single. I have a cat. And I grew up in New Jersey. I am an only child too.

Loner.
I have always hated group projects. They seem like a good idea - split up the work, everyone participates. In school, I was always the one to take the lead and do all the work so it would be done well and on time. It created more for me to do, but I knew I would get a good grade.

Goodbye cube farm...
…hello office!
I officially moved from my cubicle to my new office today. It’s a little weird. I am used to talking over the walls to my coworkers/friends and now I have to get up to talk to them or just talk to myself. I also have some real walls to decorate.
I think I can get used to it though!

Week in review.
I spent the last week at CTIA in Las Vegas and today at the Samsung 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Here are some highlights.
In Las Vegas:
Executed a successful press conference. Even the media agree.
Ate steak, Italian, Asian and some bad, greasy American, including fries with gooey cheese.
Gained about 10 lbs.
Won $200 bucks playing Blackjack. Thanks, Larry (the dealer).
