Bags, bags, bags.
I am in desperate need of three new bags right now. - A laptop bag, but more like a gigantic purse - A purse, one big enough to carry all my every day crap - A small, over the shoulder purse, for going out so I don’t have to hold a clutch and so I don’t forget a small bag somewhere (and for Las Vegas next week so I can carry things like phones and business cards and granola bars)

Beer.
Since I forgot to eat breakfast, I have enough WW points to have three light beers tonight. Woo hoo! Since I love fruit, this new version of WW actually seems a little easier. Granted it has only been two days…I was starving when I came home tonight and downed some leftover whole wheat pasta with chicken that I made last night and then cooked some broccoli because I was still hungry. I...

Back on track...for now.
For not going grocery shopping for a couple of weeks, day one of getting back on track went well. Thanks to my well stocked pantry and freezer, a pineapple that my mom gave me over the weekend and a 6 inch turkey on wheat from Subway for lunch, I was pretty much set for all of my meals. I had every intention to go grocery shopping after work today, but after being out of the office for 10 days,...

Getting back on track.
I have been feeling rather plump lately. All the holiday goodies, drinks with friends and eating out have really gotten to me. Over the last couple of weeks, I signed up for two yoga classes - one from Groupon and one from Living Socials. Both at 30 days of unlimited classes, so I plan to start up after the new year. Today, I took a big step, in my opinion, and signed up for Weight Watchers. I...

Wednesday night thoughts.
I was going to send all my Christmas cards as ecards this year, but I am rethinking that idea now. I can’t find any ecards that I really like. I actually thought about dressing my cats up and sending a picture of them as my Christmas card, but that might be too crazy cat lady, even for me. I was pretty disappointed with the H&M pop-up store at Northpark. Maybe it is because I have...

Things always happen in 3's.
Today I found out that I don’t have a brain tumor, aneurysm or some other weird condition and I am going to live. I saw Miles Austin walking his dog on my way to work. I came to the conclusion that I need to be about 15-30 minutes late every day so I am more likely to see him again. I got a great (well, in my opinion) placement for my client today on a major blog. See, things always...

I will (try to) recreate this dish. →
The last time I was in New York, I ate dinner with a client and colleagues at L’artusi. The food was good, not the best, but definitely good. We all shared some entrees so that we could try a little bit of everything and one really stood out. Pasta with brussel sprouts, more specifically, pizzoccheri with brussels sprouts, fontina and sage. It was pretty darn amazing. It was baked in an...
