Interesting theory from Monday night TV.

I was just watching How I Met Your Mother, which I catch on occasion, and Doogie Howser’s character had this theory that you shouldn’t make plans with someone farther in advance then you have been dating them. The thought behind this is that you will most likely not be together, forget the person’s name, etc. by then. For example, if you are dating someone for a month and you make plans to go to a concert or wedding three months down the road, that would be against his rules.

I recently found this theory to be somewhat correct. And that sucks. Real bad.
