The official start of summer.

I forgot how much I love the summer. BBQ’s, drinks by the pool, the smell of suntan lotion. This is my favorite time of year (although fall in the Northeast is pretty close). Even though it is blazing hot in Texas, I still love the warm weather and can put up with the heat and sweat as long as there is a pool nearby.

And although I am miles and miles away from the beach, I am still there in my heart.
