Weekend recap.
Even though it is Tuesday, I had a pretty damn good weekend:
- Friday: Had a 1/2 vacation day in the afternoon. Went to the outlet mall and thanks to Ashley, got an awesome deal on a super cute Cole Haan bag. Had too many glasses of wine at happy hour and then proceeded to try out Fedora, a new place by the Campisi daughter (I think the one who posed in Playboy), over at One Arts Plaza. Good atmosphere, a few weird clientele, one rude bartender, tasty wine and decent pizza.
- Saturday: Helped serve mimosas and took party pics at Ashley’s mom’s friends 50th birthday party, which was held in the design district at an interior design shop. I walked away with some thank you gifts - a bright teal blue vase and two candles. In the afternoon, hit the crowded mall, did some shopping and used my year old movie passes to see Twilight.
- Sunday: Slept in. Watched some move on Showtime about the Zodiac killer in CA. Went to Barnes & Noble to buy the Twilight book, went grocery shopping and spent about 4 hours reading.
All in all, a good weekend.
PS - I am probably a little late jumping on the bandwagon here, but everyone was right when they said they couldn’t put Twilight down. The movie was cheesy and I laughed through parts of it, but the books are pretty damn good. I am already 3/4 of the way through and have a trip to the bookstore planned to pick up the others.
