Wicked.

On Saturday, I saw Wicked at the Music Hall at Fair Park. I had never read the book, didn’t know the story and never heard the music. And I LOVED it!

The storyline was so great and made me appreciate The Wizard of Oz even more than I did when I was a little girl. The actors/actresses were amazing and man, did they have some serious pipes. I didn’t think there would be a happy ending, but there certainly was. I won’t give it away for those of you haven’t seen it.

I wish I had seen Wicked on Broadway when Kristin Chenoweth played Glinda. Kristin should play the role again and Lea Michele should join her on stage as Elpheba. Throw in Cory Monteith as Fiyero and that would be the best cast ever.

I think I have a new appreciation for the theater after seeing Wicked. I am even watching the Tony Awards right now.
