Happy Birthday to My Mom!

My mom’s birthday is just four days after my dad’s. They are always easy to remember. I want to wish her a (belated, by 40 minutes or so) happy birthday.

My mom is one of my best friends, although sometimes, I don’t think she realizes it. In recent years, I have felt that I can talk to my mom about anything. Boys, money, food, friends, family. My entire family is very opinionated, but I always feel like I can talk to my mom and she will tell it like it is.

I miss shopping with her and having lunch and I wish we could do that more often. For her birthday this year, my present to her, although she doesn’t know, is to spend more time with her (if she likes it, or not!).
