It would be so nice to go to a Cowboys game when they actually win. Last nights’ game was such a disappointment.

Attempting to sell my Cowboys tickets on Craiglist.

I posted them around 3pm this afternoon and had a response in an hour from a woman named, what else, Tracy. I am supposed to meet her and her family this evening somewhere off 30. I found a Starbucks or a Whataburger that might work…both public and usually busy.

I am waiting for a call back to confirm our meeting location and time. I hope this lady pulls through. The only other time I sold something on Craigslist, the person never showed up and I put my washing machine by the dumpster of my old apartment I also hope she isn’t a crazy person because I have to meet her alone.

I will update this post later so you all know that I dropped of the tickets and made it back alive.

*Update - I am alive and home. The people who bought the tickets were a bunch of kids, and by kids I mean younger than me. We met at a Starbucks in Grand Prairie, a little farther than I would have liked to drive, but it was busy and well lit. I’m just glad I didn’t lose all my money.

Finally. A reason to celebrate on a Sunday. Cowboys take down the Giants, 33-20.

I haven’t been home the last two weekends.

And I am not complaining, just stating a fact. I spent October 1-2 in Austin and October 9-10 in Napa. Not to brag or anything, but my life is sort of awesome sometimes.

This weekend, I am looking forward to spending it at home, in Dallas.

I am not a baseball fan by any means, but I am really into the team spirit for the Rangers right now, so tonight will likely be spent watching the game with friends somewhere. Tomorrow, more bathroom renovations and finally painting! I am almost done! Sunday, watching the Cowboys game (come on, we need another win!), possibly at the Nodding Donkey, a new bar in the State & Allen neighborhood.

Ahh, the weekend.

No matter what happens in the snow-battered Northeast these next two days, the Cowboys own a playoff spot heading into Christmas.

Cowboys beat (previously) undefeated Saints, 24-17.

Why I am not a fan of the White Rock Marathon.

Got up early to make a run to Home Depot to pick up paint for my bedroom. The White Rock Marathon just so happened to make it’s way down the street by my house and I didn’t think anything of it until I came back from Home Depot.

There was absolutely no way to get back to my house. After screaming in my car at the top of my lungs (I might have anger issues), I had to park my car 4 blocks away, carry my gallon of paint and wait for a break in the runners to cross the street and actually get to the gate of my complex. Ridiculous! Whoever planned the marathon route is a freakin’ idiot. You should leave at least one way to get everywhere in town. If you close down one street, leave another open. You need to give people options…the whole damn city can’t shut down just because some crazy people want to run 26 miles.

After that interruption this morning, I painted my bedroom, did a few loads of laundry, started to decorate my bedroom and baked oatmeal peanut butter chocolate chip cookies while watching the Cowboys game. Oh, and this afternoon I walked back to get my car.

Overall it was a good day, but I might just have to write the White Rock Marathon people and tell them to learn how to plan next year’s marathon route.

Dallas Cowboys Open Season with 34-21 Win

“Miles Austin avoided two tacklers on the sideline to score on a 42-yard reception just before halftime…”

That’s my boy!
