Check ya later tumblr. I am off to my home state for a long weekend of wedding fun, family drama, catching up with old friends, my fave foods (anything Italian, bagels, eggrolls, etc.), Memorial Day celebrations and lots of reminiscing.

Condo drama.

While I was in San Francisco this week, I received some unfortunate news from my mortgage broker. I may not be cleared to close on Tuesday!

After signing additional, unexpected paperwork, dealing with Allstate on insurance and my mortgage broker having some issues with the HOA company, I am a bit delayed in getting cleared. I gave everyone involved in this whole condo-buying process a piece of my mind over the last two days. It didn’t help the situation, but it sure made me feel better.

I am keeping my fingers crossed (and you should too) that the lender reviews everything tomorrow and clears me for Tuesday. If that doesn’t happen, I think there will be some seriously pissed off people…me the most pissed off…on Tuesday morning.

Drama.

My life has been feeling like an episode of 90210 lately, filled with high school drama. Gossip. Confrontations. Tears.

I am tired of it. I am tried of finding things out second hand, of people meddling in my business, of talking behind people’s back, of reading about what is going on with people and what they think of me online, of people getting pissed off and angry and defensive and taking it out on each other.

I am done. Today, I am officially done. It’s time to put all of the issues out there and move forward. Starting now.
