Condo shopping.
Just got back from looking at condos with my dad and an agent from Keller Williams. I saw four places, knocked one off the list immediately after walking in and knocked the other two off the list because they are just a little too far away from everything for me.
That left me with one condo in the heart of Oaklawn (I would rather live with the gays instead of next to a crack house). It is a quiet, two story place with an updated kitchen, balcony and two bedrooms. But, do I love it? For my first time out looking at places, it was definitely the best one, but now I am itching to see what else is out there!
If I wanted to live in a dorm, I would.
Last week, I finally got annoyed enough to call the office at my apartment to complain about the loud music I hear at all hours of the night on a regular basis. I was 99% sure it was coming from downstairs and the manager said she would leave a note on their door.
All was quiet for about a week, so I thought it was taken care of.
This evening after I got back from walking the Katy Trail, I walked into my apartment to hear the thudding of music. Obviously, my neighbors have no respect for the people that live around them.
I hate to be “that girl” and complain to the office again, but if I wanted to relive my college years and move into a dorm, I would.
It’s time I start looking for a new place, hopefully a condo or house, so I plan to get in my car and drive around this weekend to pick up flyers.
