I will be at an event/party tonight and won’t be able to watch this. Knowing MTV, they will replay it the whole weekend. I know, I am a total nerd.
If I wanted to live in a dorm, I would.
Last week, I finally got annoyed enough to call the office at my apartment to complain about the loud music I hear at all hours of the night on a regular basis. I was 99% sure it was coming from downstairs and the manager said she would leave a note on their door.
All was quiet for about a week, so I thought it was taken care of.
This evening after I got back from walking the Katy Trail, I walked into my apartment to hear the thudding of music. Obviously, my neighbors have no respect for the people that live around them.
I hate to be “that girl” and complain to the office again, but if I wanted to relive my college years and move into a dorm, I would.
It’s time I start looking for a new place, hopefully a condo or house, so I plan to get in my car and drive around this weekend to pick up flyers.
Organized iTunes library.
I always ignore the iTunes update when it pops up and for some reason I accepted it today and downloaded the newest version.
I am now obsessed with finding all the album covers and organizing my songs so they are all nice and pretty. I have a done a pretty good job so far and I am just categorizing the randoms, like 80’s music, into albums and finding some random images to include as album artwork.
FYI - The Twilight soundtrack is pretty darn good.
Lost, but finally found.
You know when you have lost something and you know you have it somewhere in your apartment or house or car. For a few years now, I have been looking for my Matchbox 20, Yourself or Someone Like You CD. I know that is completely random, but it’s a good CD! Don’t judge me.
So since I am in desperate need of some new music to listen to at the gym (Yes, I finally joined a gym. Gold’s Gym to be exact.), I decided to raid my old CD’s and see what I could dig up. And there it was. Tucked behind another CD. The Matchbox 20 CD I have been looking for almost 2 years.
I also came across some good music to add to my iTunes library, which is filled mostly with pop-punk, emo stuff (The Starting Line, Yellowcard, The Ataris, Saves the Day, etc.). Cyndi Lauper, The Bangles, Nelly, No Doubt. Good stuff to work out too. I am actually pretty pumped to go to the gym now.
