Looking for a job…is a full-time job.

It’s been two weeks since I haven’t had a job. I have applied to quite a few PR/Communications/Social Media/Marketing-type positions in Dallas. I have networked with a bunch of people, sending e-mails, LinkedIn connection requests and talking to former colleagues and supervisors. I have been on two job interviews.

I am trying to stay positive, but it is very easy to get discouraged or get my hopes up and end up disappointed. Tomorrow is a new day, next week is a new week and my fingers are crossed that something comes my way soon.

“Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.” - Sir Winston Churchill

So true. I need to keep this in mind as I am looking for my next journey in the world (AKA my job).
