CES 2011 kicked my butt.

I go to CES every year for work and for some reason I am always shocked by how crazy and exhausting it is. This year was one of the busiest I think I have ever had.

And even though I complain that I am sleep deprived, hungry, dehydrated and that my feet hurt, my back hurts, I have a headache or I am hungover, I love the adrenaline and energy at the show.

I ate some delicious meals at Switch at Encore and Trevi at Caesar’s Palace, drank good wine and won $60 bucks playing blackjack at my favorite place to gamble, Casino Royale (stay classy!).

Now, I just need a solid night of sleep and to get back on my diet, which I blew on day one in Las Vegas. All in all, CES 2011 was a good one.

Photo recap of a client event I worked on in NYC. This is what was consuming me for the last few months, but the end result was pretty darn amazing.

Yes, I was on the field!

I will be working here tomorrow. My job can be pretty cool sometimes. It’s going to be a long day, but it’s going to be fun and I am really looking forward to it. Look for me on the sidelines right before the halftime show!

Katy Perry at the Samsung Behold II event in LA last week. More photos to come, especially the one of me, Ashley and Katy. Yes, I got to meet her!

I just booked my trip to Seoul, South Korea today. I’ll be there from August 22-28. I am nervous and excited! 14 hours in a coach seat is going to suck, but I am really looking forward to the experience.

Last Thursday, I flew out to LAX with Ashley and Brett for Samsung Mobile’s attempt to set the Guinness World Record for “fastest text message sent while skydiving.” Yeah, I have a pretty fun job.
We flew into LAX and our plan was to drive up to Taft, CA, which is just outside Bakersfield. Little did, we know, a huge storm blew through the night before dumping a lot of white stuff up in the moutains and all the way to the Vegas strip. All the major highways to Bakersfield were shut down, cars were backing up on  Interstate 5 and we took a two hour detour only to be threatened to be arrested by a park ranger. About 7 hours later, and we finally pulled into Taft/Bakersfield.
It was an interesting trip, to say the least.
