I posted this picture of the view of downtown Dallas from my office on Twitter this morning. My friend/old colleague, @tlhudson, who works for the Dallas Morning News posted it to their winter weather coverage live feed.
View of my patio. THIS is what closed DISD and my office today. I understand that it has turned to ice and all, but I used to laugh at this amount of snow when I lived in NJ. Oh well, I am not really complaining…I do enjoy working in sweatpants and a hoodie from my couch.
It snowed last night/this morning. I think this is the first time I have seen some kind of frozen precipitation in Dallas in December since I have lived here.
